Landing Zone

Overview

This Landing Zone entry is the Director's "Fly directly to this Landing Zone" activity for Mercury, added with Curse of Osiris. The landing zone is The Lighthouse, a landing zone in the Fields of Glass on Mercury. Game data lists Power 750. It has no encounters or direct rewards; it drops you into Mercury free roam at the Lighthouse.

• Type: Explore (Director fast travel to a landing zone).
• Destination: Mercury.
• How to launch: Choose it from the Director to fly directly to the landing zone.
• Power and difficulty: Power 750 as listed in game data. Not a difficulty-scaled activity.

The Lighthouse

The highest tower of The Lighthouse houses Brother Vance's base for the Cult of Osiris and overlooks a major Vex hub and the gateway to the Infinite Forest. Red Legion survivors are deployed there via a Harvester to harass the Vex. The area connects to Pariah's Refuge and the Vestibule.

• A Weapons Forge lets players craft Osiris-themed weapons, and Perfect Paradox through Lost Prophecy quests from Brother Vance, which unlock after the campaign and Mercury Adventures.
• A locked region chest requires interacting with five books in the correct order.
• Nearby activities include the Adventures The Up and Up, The Runner and Bug in the System, the Lost Sector at Pariah's Refuge, the Vex Crossroads public event, and High-Value Target world events.
• The landing zone reappears in Season of Arrivals, while Season of the Worthy and Season of the Hunt mention it only in passing.

Rewards

None from the landing zone itself. Weapons and quests tied to the Lighthouse are covered on Brother Vance and Curse of Osiris.
