Golgoroth

Golgoroth is a Hive Ogre and the second encounter of the King's Fall raid. It was created by the Worm God Xol to devour Oryx; Oryx discovered the plot, had it reshaped and embedded one of the Tablets of Ruin in it.

Encounter

Guardians destroy six ceiling orbs in turn. One player shoots the yellow sack on its back to gain Golgoroth's Gaze, drawing its attention, while the rest enter the pool and damage the chest. The gaze holder must shoot its toxic darts and the team rotates the role to limit debuff buildup. The encounter fails after six unused orbs or six wipes. Hard mode adds Unstable Light; Challenge Mode requires all six players to hold the gaze.
