History of Foundry Shaping

Overview

Foundry Shaping is the follow-up tutorial to Foundry Resonance from Season of Plunder (Season 18). It teaches how to unlock a Weapon Pattern and shape (craft) a weapon at the Relic in the Enclave on Mars. The Relic Conduit gives it.

Walkthrough

1. Visit the Relic Conduit in the Enclave.
2. Complete an offensive activity such as Dares of Eternity or The Wellspring. This awards a Deepsight Resonant weapon (Taipan-4fr, a Linear Fusion Rifle).
3. Extract or dismantle the Resonant weapon to gain Pattern progress, which also advances unlocking the Pattern.
4. Return to the Relic.
5. Shape Taipan-4fr or Ammit AR2. The cost is 750 Resonant Elements, 5 Resonant Alloy and 10,000 Glimmer.
6. Level the shaped weapon by using it in activities; it unlocks new perk options.
7. Return to the Relic again.

Rewards

• Weapon Pattern and a shaped weapon
• Ascendant Alloy

Trivia
