History of Fabled Mission: Criticality

Overview

Fabled Mission: Criticality is the Fabled difficulty version of the Mission: Criticality story mission from Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, set on Kepler. The reactor powering the Aionian Campus threatens to melt down. You rout the Exile saboteurs and shut the reactor down.

Launching and difficulty

Set Kepler's World Tier to Fabled (it is also reachable by choosing the campaign flag tab in an activity group finder) and walk up to the mission's flag on the map. Sources recommend at least 150 Power. Fabled is a step above Legendary: enemies have far more health than on Legendary, so patience, a high Weapons stat and a fireteam help. The next step up is Mythic Mission: Criticality.

Encounters and mechanics

The mission follows the same objectives as Mission: Criticality; Fabled mostly raises enemy durability rather than changing the route. It is not among the four missions that Explore Kepler: Fabled asks you to replay (Charge, Commencement, Gouge, Quarantine).

Rewards

Completing it on Fabled drops gear from Kepler's higher-tier loot pool. No mission-specific rewards were confirmed by the sources used.
