Dungeon: Vesper's Host

Overview

Dungeon: Vesper's Host is a triumph within Destiny 2 tied to the Vesper's Host dungeon. It tracks the dungeon's trophy collection. The dungeon is part of Episode: Revenant.

How to complete

1. Unlock the dungeon. You need the Episode: Revenant content, which comes with the Annual Pass or Deluxe Edition. Finish the introductory Episode: Revenant missions first, then launch the dungeon from the H.E.L.M. or from a Director node under the Episode: Revenant tab.
2. Set the power level. Recommended power is listed as 1605 for Normal mode (2026) and as 1985 Light (2024). For Master, use the Director.
3. Clear the dungeon. Complete the encounters below, then use the dungeon's triumph list to track the rest.

Encounters

1. Embarkment: assign roles. The Scanner marks three panels, and the Operator shoots them in sequence to open the back door.
2. Activation: clear the central Brig to get the Scanner augment. Shoot four panels in the side chambers to unlock a nuclear core. Carry three cores to their deposits, then defeat the larger Brig that spawns with the last core. Exit through the back-right door.
3. Infiltration: each door costs one Power Reserve, which you restore by closing doors or activating shield generators. Deliver five cores to their matching numbered deposit boxes. After the fifth, wait for the boss to stop throwing explosives, then drop through the hole to the next encounter.
4. Raneiks Unified (boss): use holograms to split Raneiks into numbered Servitors. Defeat the Machine Priest at the back to reach the upper level. The Scanner identifies the correct numbers and the Operator shoots the matching panels. Hit the boss while it is vulnerable.
5. Corrupted Puppeteer (final boss):

• Phase 1: defeat irradiated puppets for augments, then shoot all panels on the numbered pillar. The boss retreats once they are done.
• Phase 2: in each mirrored room, identify the correct puppet. Defeating it yields a core. Deposit it in the bunker to halve the shield, then repeat in the second room to remove the shield.
• Phase 3: on the rooftop, deal damage while avoiding lightning. Deposit the glowing puppet's core in the bunker to survive the wipe mechanic.

Encounter names are given differently across accounts, including The Breach and Corrupted Warden.

Triumphs

The following triumphs unlock the Unleashed title:

• Vesper's Champion: complete the dungeon.
• Alone in the Dark: complete all encounters solo without leaving the activity.
• True Unity: complete all encounters with a full fireteam of clanmates.
• Collective Energy: complete all encounters with a full Arc fireteam.
• Burning Together: complete all encounters with a full Solar fireteam.
• Deep Space: complete all encounters with a full Void fireteam.
• Together as One: complete all encounters with a full fireteam of one class.
• Stationmaster: complete the dungeon on Master difficulty.
• Buried Secrets: unlock Vesper Station's access and uncover its past.

Tips

• Wrong panel shots wipe the team, so keep the Scanner and Operator in close contact.
• Watch the augment timers on your HUD and refresh at depots before they expire.
• Radiation builds while you carry a core, and you die at 10 stacks. Pass or drop cores to manage it.
• Bring Parasite, a heavy wave-frame grenade launcher or an AoE build for the second encounter.
• Suggested subclasses: Nightstalker (Hunter), Sunbreaker (Titan), and Dawnblade or Prismatic (Warlock).
