Machine Priest

Overview

The Machine Priest is a gatekeeping enemy in Vesper's Host, the dungeon that comes with the Rogue Network quest from Spider. It must be defeated to move forward. It appears in the Raneiks Unified encounter, which comes after the dungeon's nuclear maze and before the final boss, Corrupted Puppeteer.

Location

Clear Vesper's Host on any difficulty, then take the beacon beside the final loot chest. Spider sends you back into the dungeon to solve the Rogue Network puzzles.

Defeating the Machine Priest triggers the Servitor's Fall effect, which teleports the team to the upper level. Once the Shanks up there are cleared, a Viral Suppressor Client Shank spawns; defeating it grants the Suppressor buff.

Raneiks Unified is won by identifying the marked Servitors and shooting the four correct panels to start the damage phase. Repeat the process as needed until the boss falls.

Rogue Network puzzles

The last puzzle of the quest sits right after the Machine Priest falls. Clear the Scanner and Operator panel puzzle in the central wreckage, collect the data pad, open the chest behind the glass window, and talk to Spider.
