Dead-Ender

Overview

Dead-Ender is a Legendary Arc Linear Fusion Rifle from the Dead Orbit faction, built on the VEIST foundry and sitting in the Power (heavy) slot. Its intrinsic is Precision Frame, a long-range precision energy bolt with a more predictably vertical recoil pattern. The curated roll offers Chambered Compensator, Extended Barrel or Smallbore on the barrel, Particle Repeater or Projection Fuse in the battery column, and Outlaw as its trait, so precision kills greatly cut reload time. The listed stats are modest (impact 41, range 41, charge time 533 ms, 5-round magazine). Its quote, "I question the wisdom of our current trajectory," is from Arach Jalaal.

Acquisition

Dead-Ender is a Year 1 faction weapon, listed as Season 2 (Curse of Osiris). It dropped from a Dead Orbit Engram when you ranked up with the faction during a Faction Rally and turned in tokens to Arach Jalaal in the Tower. Faction Rallies were later removed from the game, so this is a legacy source.
