Dark Monastery (triumph)

Overview

Dark Monastery is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the completion of the mission of the same name. The mission is located within the Dreaming City and serves as the third post-Last Wish story mission. Completing this triumph awards 40 triumph score.

How to complete

To earn the triumph, the player must complete the "Dark Monastery" mission. This mission is part of the Destiny 2 expansion The Final Shape.

The mission narrative begins with the Guardian being tasked by Petra Venj to cleanse Harbinger's Seclude of warring Taken and Scorn forces. The objective is to locate Akasha, the Ghost of Mara Sov. During the mission, the Guardian tracks Akasha's Light signature, which cuts in and out as she moves through the Ascendant Plane. The Crow and Glint provide sensor modulations to help track her between planes.

The Guardian fights through Taken and Scorn enemies, including bosses such as Drekaa, Agra, Kruvii, Yamaat, Teksis, Om Alir, The Shieldbreaker, The Odynom, Val Belyx, and Priest of Incaru. The mission culminates in the Guardian killing the Priests of Incaru and shattering the ritual crystal. After escaping back to Harbinger's Seclude, the Guardian locates Akasha's beacon within the Dreaming City.
