Crow

Overview

Crow is the Guardian identity of Uldren Sov, a former Awoken prince of the Reef, whom Glint resurrected as a Guardian. He is the Hunter Vanguard and one of the current leaders of the Guardians, alongside Ikora Rey, the Warlock Vanguard and Vanguard Commander.

Becoming Hunter Vanguard

Uldren Sov had killed Cayde-6 with the Scorn Barons and taken his weapon, the Ace of Spades. Cayde's will named his killer as his successor. Later, after Crow and Cayde thwarted a Scorn plot together, Cayde passed the Hunter Vanguard mantle to Crow. The seat had been vacant for almost six years after Cayde's death.

Story

During the Lucent Brood campaign, Crow grew critical of the Vanguard's intelligence methods after his reckless use of the Psissorum on H.E.L.M. caused a malfunction that killed Empress Caiatl's Psion Envoy. Lord Saladin offered his own life in exchange, and Caiatl accepted, so Crow's life was spared.

Crow later volunteered to go through the Threshold because of a paracausal connection with his sister, Mara Sov. He reached the Pale Heart after the Guardian destroyed the Black Heart.

Season of the Hunt

During Season of the Hunt, Crow was the Spider's Enforcer and that season's vendor. He could be found in a side room of the Spider's Hideout on the Tangled Shore.
