Caiatl

Overview

Caiatl is the Empress of the Cabal and the daughter of the exiled Emperor Calus. After her father's exile she took command of much of the Cabal Empire.

She first came to the Sol System to bring humanity under her empire by force. After the Guardians won the Rite of Proving, she formed a wary alliance with the Vanguard against greater threats. She fought alongside humanity in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and Destiny 2: The Final Shape against the Lucent Brood and the Darkness, and she stood with the Coalition in the final battle against the Witness.

Lightfall

In Destiny 2: Lightfall, she is present at the Veil climax on Neomuna, where the Guardians face Emperor Calus. She plays a supporting role there: she urges the Guardian to destroy the Ghost that the Witness uses to reach the Veil, and she concludes the Guardians have been defeated when the Witness gains access.
