Crucible Reward Multiplier

The Crucible Reward Multiplier is a bonus applied to Crucible rewards. It rises with the player's Power Level, with equipping new or featured gear (the New Gear bonus) and with Rewards Pass bonuses.

In PvP, it also increases with Crucible Reward Rank, Competitive Division and Trials passage status. The PvP Challenge Multiplier is fixed at 1.0x. The Reward Score for a match is determined by the Match Score and this multiplier.

The Cutting Edge playlist applies the full New Gear bonus to the multiplier and requires a full set of New Gear. The multiplier was introduced with the Edge of Fate overhaul in July 2025. The launch-era description gives no numeric values for the multiplier itself, so this page lists only its factors.
