Challenge Multiplier

The Challenge Multiplier is a score multiplier used in Portal activities. It is set by the difficulty the team selects; raising the difficulty, or choosing Challenges, Banes or Player Stakes, increases it. It applies equally to every member of the fireteam and covers Solo, Fireteam, Arena and Pinnacle Ops activities.

At the end of an activity, the accumulated score, including the time bonus, is multiplied by the Challenge Multiplier and by each player's individual Reward Multiplier. The Reward Multiplier is based on the activity's modifiers and the player's highest Power level, and it can be raised by wearing new or featured gear.
