Overview
Celebrating Solstice is the introductory quest of the Solstice seasonal event, given by Eva Levante in the Tower. It walks you through the event loop: activities, the Event Home, Solstice Alloy, the Solstice Forge and event Triumphs. Expect an hour or two, as most steps complete during normal play.
Walkthrough
- Complete a Solo, Fireteam or Pinnacle Ops activity from Vanguard Ops with at least one Solstice modifier active, or finish a match in Solstice Scorched Crucible Ops.
- Claim the first Event Rank reward from the Solstice Event Home.
- Earn 100 Solstice Alloy through activities; harder content such as dungeons and raids gives more.
- Forge a piece of Solstice armor at the Solstice Forge.
- Claim your first Triumph from the Title tab of the Event Home.
- Return to Eva Levante in the Tower.
Guides for the 2024 Solstice say the Forge is reached from the Quest menu or from Eva, you can hold one Forge bounty per armor slot, and each slot needs 100 Alloy. Later years changed the details, so follow the in-game step text.
Rewards
No item is listed in game data; it unlocks follow-up A Glowing Solstice.
Trivia
- Alloy was introduced with the new Forge system, replacing earlier Solstice armor grinds.
