Broken Throne

Broken Throne is a raid triumph for clearing the Master version of Crota's End (encounters: Abyss, Oversoul Throne Bridge, Ir Yût and Crota, Son of Oryx). It is worth 25 points.

How to complete

• Master Crota's End needs 1840 Power, imposes a -20 Power delta and spawns Unstoppable and Barrier Champions, with Surges and Overcharge weapons.
• Progress is tracked per encounter, so you only have to beat each Master encounter once, even across different weeks (e.g. one per week).
• Healing effects such as Banner of War or Well of Radiance help you survive.
• Bring anti-Champion mods and a team that can handle each encounter's mechanics.

Rewards and category

Completion rewards the War's Lament exotic ship and Essence of the Oversoul (used in the Necrochasm quest). It is one of the triumphs for the Swordbearer title (the Crota's End seal), alongside Conquest by Virtue, which requires every encounter challenge on Master.
