Bound Presence

Overview

Bound Presence is a material added with Season of the Haunted. It links Nightmare Containment and Sever: you earn it in Nightmare Containment and spend it in Sever.

Acquisition

Bind Vestiges of Dread at the Nightmare Harvester during Nightmare Containment. Binding Vestiges of Dread gives you Bound Presence, and the source articles also report that it can drop at the end of Nightmare Containment when you bind.

Use

Bound Presence opens the chest at the end of a Sever mission, which gives a piece of gear. One source notes that opening the chest uses all of your Bound Presence at once. Each Bound Presence also earns reputation with the Crown of Sorrow vendor in the H.E.L.M.

Notes

The articles behind this page date from the Season of the Haunted (2022). Later seasons changed Nightmare Containment, so check current behavior before farming.
