Oryx

Overview

Oryx, the Taken King, was a Hive god and the most powerful of the three Hive gods. Born Aurash, he was one of three Krill siblings, alongside Savathûn and Xivu Arath. Together they founded the Hive and bound its species to the Sword Logic. Oryx is the master of the Taken.

Story

After the Guardians slew his son Crota on the Moon, Oryx brought his Dreadnaught into the Sol System to take revenge and unleashed the Taken across its worlds. Guardians boarded the Dreadnaught, followed him into his Throne World and defeated him for good in the King's Fall raid. His death left the Hive in the Sol System without their god-king.
