Ascendant Mystery

Overview

An Ascendant Mystery is a puzzle-style mission event in the Shattered Realm: Ruins of Wrath. Each one starts when the player aligns a beacon, and it ends with a boss fight and a chest.

Lord of the Undercroft

Aligning the first beacon activates a glowing plate that opens the door of the Warbringer's Tower. Inside, the player fights another Exarch through the right-hand portal, returns with its orb, and lights the next beacon. Relics hidden around the area are used to strip the shield of Scoroboth, who must be defeated three times to open the chest by the throne.

Light the Way

After the second beacon is aligned, a glowing orange beam marks a ritual site. Defeating a Soulfire Exarch yields an orb that is placed in a brazier to spawn five portals. Only the portal matching the Hive markings on the wall is correct, and the route is repeated five times in total before the final beacon is lit.
