Ascendant Hive

The Ascendant Hive are elite Hive warriors who lead large legions. Through Sword Logic they gained entry to the Hive gods' Throne Worlds.

Some Ascendant Hive possess an Oversoul, which lets them separate their soul from their body and withstand death. Oversouls can be used offensively, as with the Dreadnaught, or defensively, as with the Däl sisters. Known Ascendant Hive include the Hive gods Oryx, Savathûn, Xivu Arath and Crota, along with court members such as Ir Yût and the Swarm Princes.
