Armor ornament

Armor ornaments are cosmetic items that change the look of armor without changing its stats.

Faction Rally

The Curse of Osiris expansion added ornaments for the faction armor of Dead Orbit, Future War Cult and New Monarchy. Base armor stayed unchanged, and ornaments unlock by completing specific activities such as Crucible matches or Nightfall strikes. Once unlocked, an ornament applies account-wide across applicable armor pieces. Each slot's ornament comes from a specific objective, such as claiming five Faction rewards, grenade or melee kills, Lost Sectors, Public events, or a Nightfall.
