History of Abyss Defiant (triumph)

Abyss Defiant is a pattern triumph for the Solar High-Impact Auto Rifle Abyss Defiant, a Crota's End raid weapon. Completing five Deepsight Resonance extractions on it unlocks its Pattern, letting you craft it.

== How to complete ==

Farm Crota's End. The weapon is a random drop from the first encounter, Enter the Abyss, and the final encounter, Crota, Son of Oryx.

Look for the red-bordered (Deepsight Resonance) version. The extra red-border chest at the end can also give them.

Open the weapon in your inventory and extract its Deepsight; do this five times (progress shows as 0/5).

Once you have obtained it once, it can also be bought from the raid vendor for 20 Spoils of Conquest, which lets you target the weapon each week.

After the fifth extraction the Pattern unlocks and you can craft it.

== Notes ==

The sources reviewed agree on drop encounters and the 5-extraction rule; the vendor cost may change between seasons.
