History of A Lure of the Hunt

A Lure of the Hunt is a Triumph (50 points) for using the Cryptolith Lure to hunt down a Wrathborn. The source guide dates from the Beyond Light launch.

== How to complete ==

Finish the Beyond Light mission "Trail of Vengeance" on the Moon, then visit Crow on the Tangled Shore to get the Cryptolith Lure.

Charge the Lure in playlist activities (up to three charges). Precision kills in strikes are efficient.

Open the Lure in your inventory and insert mods: the first slot picks the hunt (Fallen or Hive), the others set strength of mutation.

Place the Lure at a cryptolith. Fallen hunts are on the Tangled Shore, Hive hunts in the Dreaming City (Hive hunts unlock at Crow reputation rank 2).

Wear down the powerful enemy to about 10% health, stand in the pools dropped by defeated knights for bonus damage, follow the slime trails to the next encounter, then finish the Wrathborn.

• Hunts reward weapons such as Blast Butte, Royal Chase and Friction Fire, and the Wild Hunt armor.
