History of Whispering Mothcarp

Overview

Whispering Mothcarp is a Season of the Deep fishing triumph for catching the Exotic Whispering Mothcarp. Its original location was the fishing pond in Miasma, Savathûn's Throne World.

Original completion

Bring Bait and Fishing Tackle to the pond, cast, and reel in when the bobber dips. The Exotic catch was random, so repeated casts were required; catching the fish completed this record. Depositing it in the H.E.L.M. aquarium also awarded a Broken Blade of Strife, used in the original Wicked Implement route through Deep Dive. That deposit was separate from this catch requirement.

Availability

Fishing, its tackle and bait, and the seasonal aquarium were removed on 4 June 2024. This fishing triumph is no longer obtainable. Obtaining Wicked Implement through a later acquisition route does not count as catching the fish.
