Welcome to the Frontier

Overview

Welcome to the Frontier is the second story mission of the Destiny 2: Renegades campaign and a tutorial for the Lawless Frontier, in the Freehold Outskirts on Mars. It unlocks at quest step 11 of the Renegades quest, after speaking to Spider about the last component to repair The Drifter's Ghost. Aunor asks you to retrieve Spider's lost crew and cargo.

Walkthrough

1. Interact with Spider's Utility Shank to equip the Renegade Abilities Revitalize and Strafing Run.
2. Board the ship and infiltrate; investigate the missing salvage crew while fighting The Pikers (Fallen), Tharsis Reformation (Vex) and Barant Imperium (Cabal).
3. Collect five pieces of illicit cargo and reach the exfiltration points.
4. A secret Hive Rancorous Ogre encounter exists.

Known issue at launch: the Piker gang could fail to spawn; Bungie advised waiting for the objective to read "Defeat Piker Crew" before killing Dregs, or crouching through the tunnel.
