WANTED: The Eye in the Dark

Overview

WANTED: The Eye in the Dark is a Spider bounty-style Adventure from Destiny 2: Forsaken in which you hunt down an escaped prisoner of the Prison of Elders. It is launched from the Spider vendor's WANTED bounty and plays out as a boss hunt on Hellas Basin on Mars. The Eye in the Dark was taken from the Prison of Elders.

Mechanics

Take the bounty from Spider (WANTED bounties were bought with Ghost Fragments; the 5-fragment tier gives an Adventure boss), travel to the marked destination and kill the single escapee target ("Escapee eliminated: 1").

Rewards

• Enhancement Core, XP and 15,000 Glimmer on completion, per the Destiny 2 Wiki.
• Wanted bounties also had a chance to drop The Tangled Shore gear and the exotic Lord of Wolves shotgun, per The Gamer's guide (written for a later season, so treat as possibly outdated).

Availability

This is Forsaken-era content (2018, Year 2). The Destiny 2 Wiki lists it as a Season 4 weekly bounty; the Tangled Shore was later vaulted, so check the in-game Director for current availability.
