Vrhiisk

Overview

Vrhiisk, Seeker of Power is a Subjugator Dread boss and the first boss of the Derealize Exotic mission from Episode: Heresy. Vrhiisk commands a Dread detachment aboard the Dreadnaught but turns on its own soldiers and sides with the Dire Taken.

Location

The encounter opens in the Mausoleum, where Vrhiisk fights alongside its Dread units before transmatting away. The main fight takes place in the Trenchway, where Vrhiisk uses Immunity Shields and summons Taken and Blight Sentinels.

Fight

• Damaging Vrhiisk or its minions starts the fight. Roughly 10% of its health must be removed to phase it, and most of the encounter is add management, so bring a clear-focused loadout.
• Damaging Vrhiisk projects an immunity shield and spawns another small Taken group. Two of the minions are Ogres, and killing them drops a Taken relic.
• One player picks up the relic and clears the next wave of adds to charge it. The carrier does not need to make the kills. Depositing the charged relic in the marked area on the HUD applies Torn Between Dimensions, a debuff that matches the one from King's Fall without its downsides.
• A second relic deposited on a Taken Blight strips Vrhiisk's shield.
• The final phase teleports the Guardian into an enclosed arena with no cover, where a close-range weapon or a Super is recommended.
