History of Vow of the Disciple (triumph)

Overview

Vow of the Disciple is a Raid triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the completion of the Vow of the Disciple raid. The triumph awards 25 points and is obtained from the Base Information section of the triumph menu.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, Guardians must successfully finish the entire Vow of the Disciple raid encounter. The raid was released as part of the Witch Queen expansion on March 5, 2022, and is located within a sunken Pyramid in the swamps of Savathûn's Throne World.

The raid consists of several distinct sections:

• Entrance: Guardians defeat a Projection of Savathûn and traverse a short Sparrow section.
• Disciple's Bog: Guardians push a payload through mud and mire, collecting Darkness shards from Knowledge Bearer Abominations to advance. This section includes optional puzzles involving Pyramid Spikes and a room containing 26 symbols for identification.
• Acquisition: Guardians defend three Obelisks from Scorn attackers. This requires coordinating teams to hunt Disciple's Compass Taken Knights and Glyphkeeper Chieftains to reveal specific symbols, which must then be shot on the obelisks.
• Collection: Guardians face the boss The Caretaker.

The raid concludes with the final boss encounter against Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness, who wields the Upended. Unique enemies encountered throughout the raid include Abated Adherent, Disciple's Centurion, Disciple's Hourglass, Glyphkeeper, Knowledge Bearer, and Resonant Glyphkeeper.
