Vengeful Knife

Overview

Vengeful Knife is an Episode: Heresy Triumph worth 20 triumph score. Complete all six Vengeance side quests from Sloane's dossier at the Shaping Slab. This set is part of Dreadful Discoveries, which contributes to the Heretic seal.

Original completion route

Progress Act III: Crossed Blades until the Vengeance directives become available. Open the Shaping Slab's second page in Eris Morn's apartment in the Last City and accept the following quests:

• Mission Dossier: Witch's Gambit
• Mission Dossier: Sibling Squabbles
• Mission Dossier: Blade Logic
• Writ: Misguided Vengeance
• Writ: Bloodied Blades
• Writ: Heir of Nothing

Complete their tracked objectives and return for any required vendor debriefs. For example, Mission Dossier: Blade Logic requires 150 Taken defeats using a Sword or Glaive, followed by a return to the Shaping Slab. Use a Taken-heavy encounter and keep the requested weapon equipped for final blows.

The main Act III quest only requires four Vengeance quests to advance, so continuing the story alone does not complete this triumph. Finish the remaining two directives as well, then claim Vengeful Knife. The Vengeance Forsaken campaign triumph is unrelated to these side quests.

Availability

The original Episode: Heresy narrative and Shaping Slab vendor were retired on 15 July 2025 with The Edge of Fate. The Vengeance quest route is no longer available; this remains a legacy record with no separate equipment reward.
