History of Ur

Ur, the Ever-Hunger is one of the five ancient Worm gods of the Hive, ranking in the Hive's religion second only to the Deep.

Overview

Billions of years ago Ur and its siblings were imprisoned inside the gas giant Fundament. Lore describes Ur as yearning "for nurture", which it pursues through hunger. Ur joined the pact in which Yul and the other Worm gods offered parasitic larvae to the three Krill sisters (Aurash, Sathona and Xi Ro) in exchange for tribute earned through conquest, which founded the Hive civilization. Ur is referred to as "it" in lore, and its gender is unspecified. Lore also records that Ur approved when Savathûn redirected her tribute from raw destruction toward cunning.
