History of Upgrade Gift Ranks

Overview

Upgrade Gift Ranks is a legacy Season of Arrivals triumph for purchasing Gifts of Light & Dark upgrades from the original Prismatic Recaster.

Original upgrade route

Complete In the Face of Darkness to unlock the Prismatic Recaster in The Drifter's room in the Tower Annex. Complete the Recaster's weekly bounties for Twisted Energy and deposit the currency to increase its Umbral Research rank. Each rank-up supplies access to another Gift upgrade.

Open the Gifts of Light & Dark submenu and purchase the available upgrades. Fully purchase the first rank row before advancing to the second, then complete the second before the third. The upgrades improve Umbral Engram focusing, currency gains and benefits in Contact.

Availability

The original Arrivals upgrade system ended with Beyond Light in November 2020. Later versions of the Prismatic Recaster used different upgrade systems and do not restore this original triumph route. This record has no separate item reward.
