Uncontrolled Rage

Overview

Uncontrolled Rage is a Triumph with a value of 15. The objective requires the fireteam to defeat Arunak during a Heroic Menagerie run without any members dying.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the fireteam must complete a Heroic Menagerie activity. During the encounter with Arunak, no fireteam member is permitted to die. The triumph is awarded upon the successful defeat of the boss, provided the condition of zero deaths is met during the boss encounter.

Encounter strategy

This Season of Opulence challenge belonged to the Shadow seal. Bring a coordinated six-player fireteam for the Heroic encounter. Stay together behind the pillars in the northwest corner while clearing the Hive. Collect the relics dropped by the shield encounter enemies and throw them at Arunak to break his shield. Throw directly at the boss; a guarding teammate can intercept a relic.

Use cover against the Ogre eye beam and clear nearby enemies before committing to damage. Well of Radiance and Banner Shield were useful defensive options. Retreat to cover between damage phases and repeat the shield break until Arunak dies. Every fireteam member must survive the encounter.

Availability and rewards

The original Menagerie was removed on 10 November 2020. This legacy challenge is no longer obtainable through that activity. Completion awarded 15 triumph points and contributed to Shadow.
