Tree of Probabilities

Overview

Tree of Probabilities is both the fifth story mission of Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris and a three-player Strike set in the Infinite Forest on Mercury. In the campaign, the fireteam seeks the map of the Forest and pursues Valus Thuun. Mercury and the original strike playlist were later vaulted. The strike's historical recommended Power was 750.

Walkthrough

1. Enter the Infinite Forest and fight through the simulated Red Legion.
2. In the Simulant Present, encounter Khartion, Archival Mind. Valus Thuun arrives and kills the Vex Minotaur, beginning the boss pursuit.
3. Damage Thuun until he retreats through a barrier. Clear the Vex and Cabal blocking the way; defeat the blocking Minotaur to open the barrier, then follow him through the laser-grid areas.
4. Repeat the chase and barrier clear in the later arenas. Watch for the shifting red laser grids and Thuun's knockback attacks, which can throw players from the platforms.
5. Defeat Thuun in the final area. For the campaign mission, continue to the terminal and scan the Tree of Probabilities to complete the objective.
