History of Track the Wrathborn

Overview

Track the Wrathborn is the final stage of a Wrathborn Hunt from Season of the Hunt, set in the Dreaming City (Spine of Keres). You follow the Hive Wrathborn trail to the lair of Xillox, Oppression of Xivu Arath. Recommended Light level is 1150; modifiers are Fire Pit and increased Solar and Knockback damage.

How to launch

Place a lure on a Cryptolith in Divalian Mists to summon a Wrathborn Ogre. Deplete its health, follow its blood trail to the Spine of Keres, defeat nearby Hive, and place another lure.

Boss: Xillox

The Ogre re-emerges with depleted health; defeating it summons Xillox, a Wizard who uses Void blasts, a Solar ground slam and a "Fire Nova Gaze." She spawns with an immunity shield; kill corrupted Knights to gain a roughly four-second "Wrathful" buff that lets you damage her.

Triumphs

Defeating Xillox with a Linear Fusion Rifle counts toward the Big Game Duo: Dreaming City triumph. Season of the Hunt content is sunset/vaulted.
