The Warrior (activity)

Overview

The Warrior (full name Empire Hunt: The Warrior) is a Beyond Light story mission on Europa, set in the Asterion Abyss. The player hunts Eramis's military commander Phylaks, the Warrior, a House of Salvation Baroness. It is unlocked in the open world by defeating 35 Fallen and the boss they lure out, and it can be replayed as an Empire Hunt. Difficulty tiers include Advanced, Expert and Master. Destiny 2 Wiki lists a recommended power of 1100 (Beyond Light era; later values differ).

Encounters

• Well of Infinitude: a chain of combat rooms: Fallen snipers with a champion at the end, then various Shanks with another champion, a Wyvern, and a champion mech. On higher tiers expect Barrier and Overload Champions.
• Phylaks boss fight: three phases, each in a different arena, triggered at each third of her health. She uses Stasis attacks and summons Wretches and other adds, so keep moving to avoid being frozen and keep her platform clear. In later phases the arena progressively disappears. A Stasis subclass is recommended, and the Stasis pool near the final fight entrance can be used. After clearing adds, interact with the Crux and finish her with charged abilities.

Rewards

Phylaks drops a Phylaksis Splinter of Darkness, which is delivered to the Exo Stranger to advance the Beyond Light story. Replays can drop weapons and armor from the activity's loot pool.
