The Manticore

The Manticore is a Void Exotic Submachine Gun released during Season of the Seraph.

Acquisition

• It was originally a Season Pass reward during Season of the Seraph. After the season, it became available from the Monument to Lost Lights.

Catalyst

• Volantes Violentiam is a quest from Banshee-44 in the Tower. The first step requires 50 airborne Submachine Gun defeats; the next asks for 200 calibration data and target defeats while using The Manticore; then return to Banshee-44.
• The catalyst was reworked in Update 7.3.5 on March 5, 2024. Earlier guides describe the pre-rework Flying Monster perk. The updated catalyst grants Void Overshield and returns ammo through airborne damage/defeats.
