The Lie

Overview

"The Lie" is a triumph awarded for completing the "The Lie" Major Arcana quest. This quest is part of the Season of the Witch and involves accessing the corresponding card within the Deck of Whispers. Completing this triumph grants 10 Triumph Score.

How to complete

To complete the quest, players must first uncover hidden chests located in Savathûn's throne world to gather Insight. Specifically, players must collect 5 Insight points. Deepsight Chests provide an increased chance of gathering Insight.

Once the required Insight is gathered, players must visit the Lectern of Divination to unveil the mysteries of the card. This action adds "The Lie" Major Arcana card to the player's Deck of Whispers.

After completion, the card can be drawn at random before each encounter in Savathûn's Spire and the Altars of Summoning, provided the player holds at least 5 cards. Players may remove the card from their deck at any time by interacting with it in the Athenaeum, though it can be added again upon returning to that location.
