The Chasm of Screams
While you were speaking to Tyra, she mentioned something called the Hated Path, a sort of primer to transform an ordinary Hand Cannon into a Thorn. Bathe your Light in horrors. Feed your weapon with death. Bind it with sickness. Horrors, death, sickness… that all sounds like the Hive nests on Titan to you.
Defeat the Arbiters, Sardav and Telesh, then defeat Savathûn's Song in an epic reprise of strike "Savathûn's Song" on Titan.
Overview
The Chasm of Screams is a special Strike that is a harder rendition of "Savathun's Song" on Titan. It is the final step of the Thorn Exotic hand cannon quest; Tyra Karn mentions the Hated Path, a primer that turns an ordinary hand cannon into Thorn.
How to launch
Progress the Thorn quest to its final step, then speak to Tyra Karn at the Farm in the European Dead Zone to start it. It is a three-player strike (listed destination: New Pacific Arcology; recommended power 750 at the time).
Encounters
Modifiers are Harsh Elements (tougher, harder-hitting enemies), Blackout and Iron. Knight minibosses called Arbiters (Sardav and Telesh) must be defeated, with two spawning in the final fight when the Shrieker's health falls to a third. Do not kill Savathun's Song before the Arbiters die or the run fails. Solo is possible but not recommended; Izanagi's Burden and Xenophage were suggested for the Arbiters.
Rewards
Completing it finishes the Thorn quest. The Thorn quest and this strike may have changed or been sunset in later seasons.
