Taken Osseous Fragment

Overview

Taken Osseous Fragments are quest items for The Taken Path, the Exotic quest for Barrow-Dyad that began in Episode: Heresy Act I. The Hive hide the fragments, and each one leads to a new target.

Acquisition

• One fragment is hidden in the Forgotten Shore in the Cosmodrome. It is found using the Scotopic Rune.
• Further fragments are protected by three Taken curses: Endurance, Urgency, and Revenge. Each curse must be broken to reach its fragment.
• The final fragment leads to a weapon and a powerful Taken energy in the Dreadnaught. The quest is finished with the Exotic mission Derealize.

Fragments feed the search data that Sloane provides at the Shaping Slab. The source does not state a total number of fragments needed.
