History of Sturm

Sturm is an Exotic Kinetic Hand Cannon, the companion of Drang.

Overview

Perks: Storm and Stress (kills with Drang reload Sturm and overfill the magazine with Overcharge rounds, which deal heavy bonus damage) and Accomplice (kills replenish your equipped energy weapon's reserves).

Acquisition

• Original route: get Drang from the Exodus Black missions on Nessus, then take the Relics of the Golden Age quest from the Cryptarch, visit Tyra Karn, and decrypt the Golden Age Engram.
• Current: that content is vaulted, so Sturm is bought at the Exotic Archive in the Tower. One source lists the cost as 1 Exotic Cipher, 100k Glimmer, 150 Legendary Shards and 1 Ascendant Shard; costs may have changed.

Catalyst

Drops from enemies on Nessus while carrying Sturm; unlock by defeating 500 enemies with both Sturm and Drang equipped (older guides). Adds Range +18 and Handling +36.
