Trait
Stopping Power
This weapon's Kinetic ordinance can more easily stagger combatants, and grant increased target acquisition and damage against low-health targets.
Overview
Stopping Power is a trait for Kinetic weapons. It makes kinetic rounds more likely to stagger enemies, and it increases target acquisition and damage against targets with low health. It also raises Aim Assistance.
Where it appears
It rolls on a mix of kinetic weapons, including Fatebringer, The Messenger, Tranquility and Duty Bound. It occupies a trait slot.
PvP and PvE
In PvP, the Duty Bound god roll uses Stopping Power as Perk 1, with Lone Wolf as the alternative. Pairing it with Rampage in Perk 2 creates a loop where more damage leads to more damage, and the combination stays strong at its first or second stack. The PvE god roll on Duty Bound does not use Stopping Power.
