History of Spoil

The Spoil is a location on Kepler visited in The Exile's Accord Strangelet questline from Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. The step is titled Acceleron: Spoil. Lodi's informant sends the Guardian there with coordinates. The objective is to disrupt Ether distribution in the Spoil and recover an Acceleron.

Recovering the Acceleron opens the Time Latch blocking the Saturnism mission, which is unlocked after this step. Lodi describes Accelerons as particles that Eliksni commanders use like keys to phase through the temporal distortions that segment the Accord. This is the second Acceleron in the quest, after Acceleron: Displacement in step 2. Guides number this step differently relative to the wider Edge of Fate quest log.
