History of Scathelocke

Scathelocke is a legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle (Adaptive Frame, 600 RPM, Field Forged) first seen in Season 15 and reissued in Season of the Lost.

Overview

Curated roll: Arrowhead Brake, High-Caliber Rounds, Heating Up, Multikill Clip; random rolls include Rampage, Osmosis, Threat Detector and Under Pressure. Some players suggest Rewind Rounds with Kinetic Tremors and the Veteran's Wisdom origin trait for PvE.

Acquisition

It originally came from European Dead Zone rewards via Devrim Kay, random drops and Crucible rewards. After Season of the Lost it was available only through Umbral Engrams and Banshee-44. Since The Final Shape, Banshee-44's stock no longer updates, which makes it unobtainable per one report. Other reports cite heroic Public Event drops in the European Dead Zone, so current availability is disputed.
