History of Savek

Savek, Betrayer for Xivu Arath, is a Fallen Wrathborn and a former House of Spider salvager. She is the target of the Wrathborn Hunts in Season of the Hunt, where she first appeared. Savek was a Dreg salvager sent with a crew led by Kosis to scavenge a wrecked House of Kings ketch on the Tangled Shore. She found a Cryptolith in a nearby cave and was drawn to Xivu Arath's whispers. Enthralled, she killed Kosis with a stolen Shock Blade. Her body then transformed into a four-armed Wrathborn, and she crossed into a throne world to serve its master.

Under the God of War, she was one of the first Wrathborn to betray the House of Spider. Crow captured her for questioning but found nothing of the Eliksni she had been, and released her. A few days later, the Guardian found her at Sjursrest in Four-Horn Gulch and put her down, to Crow's grief. The Season of the Hunt lore is dated November 2020. In 2021, Festival of the Lost updated her appearance with a cloak.

Hunting Savek

Savek is hunted with a Cryptolith Lure. Crow hands the Lure out during the Hunt for the Wrathborn quest, and it must be charged in Crucible, Gambit and strike playlists before it can be configured. Insert a Savek Prey mod into the first slot, and fill the remaining slots with Trophy mods to activate it. Place the Lure at the cryptolith in Thieves' Landing on the Tangled Shore to start the hunt. Savek's lair is found by following the markings on the ground, and placing the Lure again draws her out.

Savek spawns with an immunity shield, along with corrupted Shanks and Servitors. Defeat the yellow-health enemies and stand in the pool they leave to gain the Wrathful buff, which lets you damage her shield and deal extra damage. The buff lasts a few seconds after you leave the pool, so stay in it as long as possible, and use long-range weapons to avoid her ground slam. Rewards change after each completed hunt, and returning to Crow unlocks further Lure mods.
