Royal Amethyst

Royal Amethyst is a redeemable item from the original Destiny's House of Wolves expansion. Its in-game description calls it shards of rare Glimmer-laced gems from the Queen's Crystal Barrows.

Players can get it by progressing through the House of Wolves storyline or by opening the Queen's chest in the Prison of Elders. It comes in two versions, worth 2,500 or 5,000 Glimmer. Master Ives buys it from players in exchange for Glimmer.
