History of Riis-Reborn Approach

Overview

The Riis-Reborn Approach is a private location within Riis-Reborn on Europa, in the Rathmore Chaos region. It is only reachable through the Eventide Ruins and connects to Kell's Rising, Gale's Watch and Technocrat's Iron. The Fallen occupy the area and built their city on the remains of Clovis Bray's colony, Eventide. The Vex later invaded Riis-Reborn and went to war with the Fallen.

It first appears in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, where players enter it to fight the House of Salvation. It returns in Season of Plunder, The Final Shape and Reclamation.

Story mission

In the Beyond Light campaign, the Riis-Reborn Approach is the twelfth story mission. It follows The Divide and comes before Fallen Skiff. Players fast travel to Charon's Crossing and follow the waypoints, fighting Goblins and Dregs and entering the facility where they first met Phylaks. After dropping to the level below, they commune with the Crux of Darkness, the mission's main objective. The communion brings waves of Shanks and Servitors, while a Technocrat's Assistant attacks with sniper fire. The objective strengthens Stasis for the fight against Eramis. The mission rewards the Subzero Salvo rocket launcher from Variks.
