Retraced Path (triumph)

Overview

Retraced Path is a triumph that tracks progress toward unlocking the Pattern for the Retraced Path weapon. The objective requires completing five Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon. Completing these extractions will unlock the weapon's Pattern, allowing players to craft it. The triumph awards no score or additional rewards.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must acquire the Retraced Path, a Legendary Trace Rifle that deals Solar damage. This weapon was introduced in the 30th Anniversary Pack and can be obtained from Dares of Eternity.

Once in possession of the weapon, players must equip it and complete five Deepsight Resonance extractions. Each successful extraction contributes to the "Pattern progress" objective (0/5). After all five extractions are completed, the triumph is finished, and the weapon's Pattern is unlocked.

The weapon is notable for being the first Legendary Trace Rifle added to Destiny 2. Its design is based on the focus rifle from Halo: Reach, the final game developed by Bungie before the release of Destiny.
