History of Psion Codewarden

Overview

Psion Codewardens are Major-rank Cabal Psions in the Psion Conclave, serving under Qabix, Insurgent. They wear golden armor and carry Cabal Slug Shotguns. Each one is protected by an immunity shield generated by nearby Psion Commanders.

Vox Obscura

The Codewardens appear in the Vox Obscura Exotic mission, midway through, before the boss. There are three, one each in the left, centre and right rooms. Destinypedia lists Legionarys, Centurions, Phalanxes and Incendiors guarding them in each room.

Kill the Psion Commanders nearby to remove the shield, then kill the Codewarden to receive the code for the door controls. Once all three are down, the final boss room can be reached. The Destiny 2 Wiki describes these shields as breakable with melee attacks up close.

History

Psion Codewardens first appeared in Season of the Risen.
