History of Phogoth

'''Phogoth, the Untamed''' is a massive Hive Ogre created by Crota's Brood.

== Lore ==

Eris Morn says Crota's Brood had "an appetite for destruction that knew no bounds. Thus, Phogoth, the Untamed was created." Destinypedia also says it was raised by the Wizard Mormu and was the final boss of the strike mission "The Summoning Pits" on the Moon. Its weak spot is a pulsating chest tumor rather than the eye.

== Nightmare of Phogoth ==

In Shadowkeep, the Pyramid manifested it as a Nightmare in Nightmare Hunt: Fear and Altars of Sorrow, again in The Summoning Pits.
