Perfect Catch

Overview

A Perfect Catch is a Fishing mechanic from Season of the Deep. When the bobber dips beneath the water, press the interact button right away to land a Perfect Catch. Pressing a little late still catches the fish, at a lower quality. Pressing before the bobber goes under pulls the hook out with no fish and loses the bait.

Focused Fishing

Perfect Catches add to the Focused Fishing meter, beyond the fill from normal fishing. The meter rises the more players fish, and higher levels make rarer fish more likely.
