Pavilion

Overview

The Pavilion is the Vex-occupied final area of Polysemy, a mission from the Season of the Wish quest set in Riven's Lair in the Dreaming City. It is reached through a portal from the Splintered Geode. The area is a Darkness Zone with restricted respawning.

Boss and egg

The Aspirational Construct, a Vex hydra of the Sol Divisive modified with a core of Darkness, guards the area. It serves the Witness as its eyes and ears. Its shield blocks damage until Guardians kill Arc-Charged Minotaurs for Arc Craniums and use them to break it. Once the shield is down, it summons damaged Vex reinforcements. At one-third health it uses Imminent Detain, trapping Guardians in a shield that must be shot to escape.

When the Construct falls, the other enemies vanish and the room holding Riven's egg unlocks. Interacting with the egg transmats it to Riven to complete the mission.
