History of Osmium Court

The Osmium Court is the Hive court of the Osmium dynasty. After Crota and Oryx were killed and much of the Hive nobility fell, the throne was left vacant.

Malkanth believed the Osmium heirs were unworthy of the throne and plotted to claim it. Her plan, described in the lore book Inquisition of the Damned, involved sacrificing Azavath so that Akrazul's essence could be placed in her body. The ritual failed when Akrazul, influenced by Savathûn, killed Malkanth.
